Our Kids Face Challenges

Even At A Young Age

Today's digital world throws financial complexities at young people from a very early age...

Virtual transactions, online advertising, and access to instant credit create a financial maze that can be confusing and overwhelming.

Which leads to a few crucial questions...

Can your child:

  • Understand the difference between wants and needs?

  • Plan for long-term financial goals, like saving for a car or college?

  • Be prepared to make smart decisions about money?

  • Understand the value of money?

  • Discuss money matters with you openly and confidently?

If the answer to any of these questions is a 'No', then join the webinar and learn the Maverick approach.

Here's a sneak peek of what you'll be learning:

How to navigate financial literacy for teens in today's world

How to overcome barriers and effectively communicate about money with your teens

Practical tips for teaching your teens about money, including budgeting, saving, and investing.

About The Speaker

Matthew Zachary Liu

isn't your everyday life coach. Born to a Korean mother and a Singaporean father, he navigated high societal expectations. His transformative journey began in secondary school when a teacher recognised his gift for communication, which set him on a path to pursue communications in polytechnic, university and achieving career success.

With a background in media, a stint as an educator, and a passion for challenging norms, Matt brings a unique perspective to helping families navigate the complexities of modern life. He advocates for a shift in the education system to include a broader perspective on success and failure, focusing on the importance of mental well being, character building and personal development for students to thrive in their lives and future.

As a life coach, he guides youth on their journey, one that is not defined by circumstances but the choices we make and the steps we take.

Coming from a middle income family where conversations about money were never spoken about, Matt was always determined to break this generational cycle. He has since gone on to become the top 1% in the finance industry and a respected Financial Educator coaching youths and families with knowledge and strategies to build a better financial future.

By providing necessary guidance and support during their teenage years, Matt aims to spare them the hardships of learning through trial and error. He emphasises the need for parents to connect emotionally with their children, redefining success to prioritise happiness as a shared goal.

Matthew Zachary Liu's effort with the next generation have been commended publicly by former Speaker of Parliament, Tan Chuan Jin and former Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Grace Fu.
